Trips to Cozumel Museum
Cozumel Museum
The Cozumel Museum is a museum in a 1930s former hotel on the island's southern hotel zone. Four permanent exhibits and two temporary rooms cover island history, nature and culture.
About the Cozumel Museum
The Cozumel Museum sits in a building from the 1930s that was once one of the first hotels on the island. It has been renovated and now holds exhibits on local geography, ecosystems, history and culture.
A visit is a slow walk through the permanent rooms, with two temporary rooms for local and international artists and a room on 146 years of Carnaval tradition. It stands in the southern hotel zone, so it works best as a planned stop rather than a stroll.
- Four permanent exhibits on island geography, ecosystems, history and culture
- 146 years of Carnaval tradition shown in one room
