Harmony of the Sea’s Ultimate Abyss

June 13, 2016

Pretty scary looking, huh? The Ultimate Abyss on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas is more than 150 feet above sea level!  It offers side-by-side slides that send guests whooshing down and around at a rate of 9 miles per hour. Yikes! Guests launch from a glass platform on deck 16 and have time for a quick prayer and one last look at the Boardwalk 10 decks below before climbing onto a mat and taking the plunge down to deck 6! There’s LED lights and graffiti artwork designed to create a starry night and spontaneous audio effects within each tunnel that create a multi-sensory thrill for daring guests. I can tell you now, I am not a daring guest!

Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas is currently sailing out of Barcelona and Civitavecchia.  In November of 2016 she will sail to the Caribbean out of Fort Lauderdale.
