Finding Deals on Royal Caribbean Cruises

When it comes to planning a cruise, few things are better than finding that perfect deal. Through Direct Line Cruises and through the cruise line itself, various package deals are available. Travelers, as well, can devise a strategy to take advantage of certain deals while planning. What options do you have?

Through Direct Line Cruises

The deals for Royal Caribbean cruises are numerous through our site. Browse through all the possibilities for package deals that can take you or a group off to the Caribbean, Europe, Canada, Alaska, or another part of the world. While packages vary, travel insurance is included, and some even offer an onboard credit, although value varies. Find vacations, as well, that depart from ports all over the U.S. As a general travel tip for saving money, departing close to home eliminates airfare and hotel expenses.

Specifically for Royal Caribbean, along with Celebrity and Norwegian, we send out specialty promotions and deals not advertised to the public.

Direct Line Cruises, for Royal Caribbean and other liners, additionally offers cash rebates for eight or more cabins – a great saving when traveling with a group! For every eight cabins booked, a cash rebate for the full fare of one person (without port charges and taxes) is given.

We further lock in rates once a trip is reserved, regardless of cruise line. While the cruise lines themselves may raise rates at a later date, we don’t; however, if a rate does lower at a later time, your cabin is reduced to a lower fare, or we can upgrade it or offer an onboard credit.

Through Royal Caribbean

While Direct Line Cruises presents a great selection of deals, Royal Caribbean offers even further options. As you plan a trip, consider looking into various contests, promotions, special offers, or limited time specials. Regional specials are another option offered directly through the cruise line.

In Your Travel Plans

Say you already secured a deal through our website or the cruise line and want to keep on saving. What else can you do when planning your trip on board a Royal Caribbean ship?

Timing is everything when scheduling a cruise. For better rates, schedule your trip at least six months in advance – nine months is optimal for better rates. Additionally, rates tend to be lower in the spring or fall and higher in summer or around a holiday. Or, consider a last minute deal on a Royal Caribbean cruise; such prices often surface two months before the ship departs.

Stay closer to home. Ideally, to save on traveling, find a cruise that leaves from a cruise port within driving distance. However, still set funds aside to pay for parking at the cruise terminal.

Save and only conscientiously spend. On average, a cruise costs $100 per passenger per day, or $500 per week. Budget out your funds beforehand and make sure your expenses, including shore excursions, nightclubs, and drinks, do not exceed the daily amount.
