TRAVEL ADVISORY - SUSPENDED SAILINGS

Given the evolving COVID-19 coronavirus situation, several cruise lines have made the decision to voluntarily suspend sailings.  An overview of impacted sailings, reimbursement options & more are shown below.

Azamara is voluntarily suspending sailings from March 14 through July 31, 2020.  Impacted guests have the following options:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund
  • OPTION 3 - Lift & Shift (Move your sailing with price protection)☨

Additionally, Azamara has provided an online election form for guests to indicate their preferred form of reimbursement.  Please make sure to complete this form as soon as possible.  If no election is made, the Future Cruise Credit (Default Option) will be automatically issued.

Carnival Cruise Line is voluntarily suspending the following sailings:

  • All Sailings from March 14 through July 31, 2020
  • Beginning August 1, Carnival plans to resume cruises on the following ships:
    Galveston: Carnival Dream, Carnival Freedom and Carnival Vista
    Miami: Carnival Horizon, Carnival Magic and Carnival Sensation
    Port Canaveral: Carnival Breeze and Carnival Elation
  • Other than the above referenced service from Galveston, Miami, and Port Canaveral, all other North American homeport cruises will be canceled through August 31.
  • All Carnival Spirit Alaskan cruises from Seattle will be canceled, as well as the Carnival Spirit Vancouver- Honolulu cruise on September 25 and the Honolulu-Brisbane cruise on October 6.
  • All Carnival Splendor cruises in Australia from June 19 to August 31 will be canceled.
  • All San Francisco, CA sailings in 2020
  • All Carnival Radiance sailings through and including November 1, 2020
  • All Carnival Legend sailings through and including October 30, 2020
  • All Carnival Sunrise sailings through and including October 19, 2020
  Impacted guests have the following options:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit plus onboard credit.  Onboard credit amount is based on sailing length.  6 day & longer cruises will receive a bonus $600 onboard credit per stateroom.  5 day cruises & less will receive a bonus $300 onboard credit per stateroom.  Future cruise must be booked by 12/31/20 for sailing by 12/31/22.
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund.

Celebrity Cruises is voluntarily suspending sailings from March 14 through July 31, 2020.  Impacted guests have the following options:

Disney Cruise Line is voluntarily suspending all sailings through July 28, 2020. Impacted guests have the following reimbursement options:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

Holland America is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings from March 14 to June 30, 2020.  In addition, Holland America Line has decided to extend its pause of global cruise operations and cancel all Alaska, Europe and Canada/New England cruises for 2020. Impacted guests have the following options:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit plus $250 Onboard Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund

MSC Cruises is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings through July 10, 2020.  Impacted guests can choose from the following reimbursement options:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/21).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

Norwegian Cruise Line is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings from March 13 through July 31, 2020.  Additionally, all NCL Sun sailings from 5/21 to 10/18/20 have been cancelled. Impacted guests have the following options:

Sailings from 7/1 to 7/31/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund. Refund request form will be available beginning 6/8/20 and MUST be completed by 11:59 pm EST on 6/19/20. 

Sailings from 3/18 to 6/30/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

Sailings from 3/13 to 3/17/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 150% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

NCL Sun Alaska / Panama Canal Sailings from 5/21 to 8/12/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

NCL Sun Alaska / Panama Canal Sailings from 8/13 to 10/18/20

  • Guests will automatically receive a 100% Refund

Oceania Cruises is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings through July 31, 2020.  Impacted guests have the following options:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund
For complete details with terms & conditions, please refer to Oceania Cruises' website. For guests who prefer to forfeit the higher value of the 125% future cruise credit, a lower value full refund option is available by filling out this online election form  no later than June 3, 2020.

Princess Cruises is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings departing March 12th through the end of the 2020 summer sailing season.  In addition the following itineraries have been cancelled:

  • All 2020 Alaska cruises and cruisetours
  • All remaining Europe and Transatlantic cruises on Enchanted Princess, Regal Princess, Sky Princess, Crown Princess and Island Princess
  • Summer Caribbean cruises and all Canada & New England cruises on Caribbean Princess and Sky Princess
  • Summer to Fall cruises departing from Japan on Diamond Princess
  • Australia-based cruises on Sapphire Princess and Sea Princess through August
  • July cruises sailing from Taiwan on Majestic Princess
  • Fall cruises sailing to Hawaii and French Polynesia on Pacific Princess through November

Impacted guests have the following reimbursement options:

Sailings from March 12th to March 25th:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 225% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund + 100% Future Cruise Credit
Sailings from March 26th to April 8th:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 175% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund + 50% Future Cruise Credit
Sailings from April 9th to May 10th:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 150% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund + 25% Future Cruise Credit

Sailings from May 11th to June 30th:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund
    For reservations that have not been paid in full, option 2 will be your default and any money paid will be refunded to the original payment form.

Sailings from July 1st to remainder of cancelled sailings:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund
    For guests who have not paid in full, Princess will Double the Deposit, providing a refundable FCC for the money currently on deposit plus a matching bonus FCC that can be used on any voyage through May 1, 2022 as a default option. Alternatively, guests can request a full refund for all monies paid on their booking.

Princess Cruises has provided an online election form for guests who chose to forfeit their higher value Future Cruise Credit and request a refund. Future Cruise Credit is valid for voyages departing through May 1, 2022.

Royal Caribbean is voluntarily suspending sailings from March 14 through July 31, 2020.  Impacted guests have the following options:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund.
  • OPTION 3 - Lift & Shift (Move your sailing with price protection)☨

Viking River & Ocean is voluntarily suspending operations for cruises departing from March 12th through June 30th, 2020.  Impacted guests have the following reimbursement options:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund.
