Given the evolving COVID-19 coronavirus situation, several cruise lines have made the decision to voluntarily suspend sailings.  An overview of impacted sailings, reimbursement options & more are shown below.

Azamara is voluntarily suspending sailings from March 14 through April 2021.  Impacted guests have the following options:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund
  • OPTION 3 - Lift & Shift (Move your sailing with price protection)☨

  • Regardless of the option you choose, your taxes, fees and port expenses, Carnival Vacation Protection, pre-paid gratuities, pre-purchased Carnival shore excursions, beverage and Wi-Fi packages, and Fun Shop purchases will be automatically refunded to the original form of payment.
  • If a selection is not made by September 30, 2021, a 100% Future Cruise Credit equal to the amount of cancellation penalties on your original booking will be automatically applied. If you previously canceled your reservation and chose the Future Cruise Credit + Onboard Credit option, please note you now have until September 30, 2021 to make your new booking.
  • If you purchased your own flights for getting to your cruise, we encourage you to contact your airline or travel agent about your options as the airlines are being flexible with change fees.

Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of All Departures Through April 30, 2021 and select sailings on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder in May

Our team at Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our Guests and team members. We are carefully preparing for a return to service following the guidelines issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As we continue to refine our protocols and await further technical guidance from the CDC, we are cancelling all sailings through April 2021 and select sailings onboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder in May.

Sailings are cancelled aboard the Disney Fantasy through April 24; the Disney Dream through April 30; the Disney Magic through May 6 and Disney Wonder through May 12.

Additionally, as previously shared, based on the conditional sail order provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Disney Cruise Line must cancel sailings longer than 7 nights.

We are offering affected Guests who have paid their reservation in full the choice of a 125% future cruise credit* to be used for a future sailing prior to May 31, 2022, or a full refund. The credit has automatically been added to your clients’ account and can be applied as a payment option when booking a new reservation online on the Disney Travel Agents website. Guests that have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far.

Holland America Line has begun to prepare ships and implement procedures to meet all requirements prior to approval to sail following the pause. More details on the company’s return to cruise will be announced as soon as possible.

Cruises impacted by this pause in operation are:

  • All cruise departures through April 30, 2021.
  • ALASKA: Eurodam and Oosterdam through the first week of June (roundtrip from Seattle, Washington); Koningsdam through mid-May (roundtrip from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada); Nieuw Amsterdam and Noordam through mid-May (roundtrip Vancouver and between Vancouver and Whittier, Alaska); and Zuiderdam though early June (roundtrip from Vancouver).
  • MEDITERRANEAN: Volendam cruises through early June (between Venice and Civitavecchia [Rome], Italy); Westerdam though early June (roundtrip from Venice or between Venice and Piraeus [Athens], Greece).
  • CANADA/NEW ENGLAND: Zaandam cruises through August (between Boston, Massachusetts, and Montreal, Quebec, Canada).
  • Cruises of eight days or more that call at a U.S. port through Nov. 1, 2021. 
  • Select longer voyages in Asia, Australia/New Zealand and South America through mid-April 2021. Some departures will be rescheduled to comparable dates in 2022.

Guests and their travel agents are being notified directly of the cancellations and options for Future Cruise Credits and rebooking.

Guests on Canceled Cruises Automatically Receive Bonus Future Cruise Credit
Guests with impacted cruises through April 30, 2021 will be automatically canceled, and no action is needed when opting for the Future Cruise Credit (FCC). All guests will receive an FCC per person as follows:

  • Paid in Full: Those who have paid in full will receive 125% FCC of the base cruise fare paid to Holland America Line.
  • Not Paid in Full: Those with bookings not paid in full will receive an FCC of double the amount of their deposit.


Longer Voyages through April 2021 to Sail in 2022
Guests booked on several longer voyages to South America aboard Westerdam, Asia aboard Noordam and Australia/New Zealand aboard Oosterdam will be rebooked to similar dates and itineraries in 2022. Those booked on the Voyage of the Vikings cruise, scheduled to depart July 9, 2021, aboard Zaandam, will move to a similar date in 2022.

All guests moving to a new voyage in 2022 will receive a $150 per person shipboard credit, protected pricing and equivalent stateroom category.

Full Refund Option Also Available
Guests who prefer a 100% refund of monies paid to Holland America Line can visit the Cancellation Preferences form to indicate their preference.

MSC Cruises is voluntarily suspending the following sailings:

  • MSC Armonia: March 16, 2020 through March 31, 2021
  • MSC Bellissima: March 14, 2020 through November 22, 2020

  • MSC Fantasia: March 28, 2020 through April 4, 2021
  • MSC Grandiosa: March 14, 2020 through March 20, 2021 (Non-Schengen countries)

  • MSC Magnifica: March 16 through October 18, 2020 + November 8, 2020 - February 13, 2021 + World Cruise

Impacted guests can choose from the following reimbursement options:

Norwegian Cruise Line is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings through May 31, 2021. Impacted guests have the following options:

All Sailings from 5/1/21 to 5/31/21 on all ships that were not preveously suspended

  • All guests with current and active bookings affected by this suspension will receive a 100% refund of the fare paid, back to the original form of payment. No further action is needed by you. Monetary refunds will be processed automatically by NCL within 30 days. Please then allow 7-10 business days from our processing date for funds to become visible back to the original form of payment. For those reservations paid via a previously issued FCC, 100% of the FCC used will be re-applied to the guests’ Latitudes account within 7 days. No further action is needed.

All Sailings from 4/1/21 to 4/30/21 that were not preveiosly suspended

  • All guests with active bookings at the time of suspension will automatically receive a full refund. The refund will automatically be returned to the original form of payment provided (at the time this reservation was secured) and no further action is required on the guest’s or travel advisor’s part. Monetary refunds will be processed by NCL within 15 business days of suspension announcement. Please then allow 7-10 business days from our processing date for funds to become visible back to the original form of payment. The visibility of funds is dependent on each financial institution’s internal policies. For affected reservations paid via a previously issued Future Cruise Credit (FCC), the full value of the FCC used will be re-applied to the guest’s Latitudes account within 7 days. This is done automatically, and no further action is required on the guest or travel advisor’s part.

Sailings from 3/1/21 to 3/31/21 on the Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Escape, and Norwegian Joy

  • All guests with current and active bookings affected by this suspension will receive a 100% refund of the fare paid, back to the original form of payment. No further action is needed by you or your client.  Refunds will be processed automatically by NCL within 15 business days.  Please then allow 7-10 business days from our processing date for funds to become visible back to the original form of payment (timing is dependent on individual financial institution’s policies). For those reservations paid using a previously issued FCC, 100% of the FCC used will be re-applied to the guests’ Latitudes account within 7 days.  No further action is needed by you or your client. All guests with current and active bookings affected by this suspension will automatically receive a 10% OFF discount on their next NCL cruise, valid for all published sailings from through and including December 31, 2022. This 10% OFF discount will be applied to guests’ Latitudes profiles by Wednesday, December 30, 2020 and must be used within one year of issue date.

Sailings from 1/1/21 to 2/28/21 & Bliss, Breakaway, Epic, Gem, Getaway, Jade, Jewel, Pearl, Pride of America, Sky & Sun sailings through March 31, 2021:

  • All guests within the above sailing period with current and active reservations will receive a 100% refund of the fare paid, back to the original form of payment. No further action is needed. All refunds will be processed automatically by Norwegian Cruise Line. For reservations paid via a previously issued Future Cruise Certificate, 100% of the certificate will be re-applied to the guest's Latitudes account. In addition, guests will receive a 10% discount coupon to be used towards a future cruise reservation made with Norwegian Cruise Line. 10% Discount must be redeemed within one year from date of issue.

Sailings from 11/1 to 12/31/20 & Star, Dawn & Spirit sailings from 12/1/20 to 3/31/21

  • All guests within the above sailing period with current and active reservations will receive a 100% refund of the fare paid, back to the original form of payment. No further action is needed. All refunds will be processed automatically by Norwegian Cruise Line. For reservations paid via a previously issued Future Cruise Certificate, 100% of the certificate will be re-applied to the guest's Latitudes account. In addition, guests will receive a 10% discount coupon to be used towards a future cruise reservation made with Norwegian Cruise Line. 10% Discount must be redeemed within one year from date of issue.

Sailings from 10/1 to 10/31/20 (Excluding previously cancelled Canada/New England)

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund. Refund request form will be available beginning 8/3/20 and MUST be completed by 11:59 pm EST on 8/14/20. 

Affected Sailings from 8/1 to 9/30/20 plus October Canada New England

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund. Refund request form will be available beginning 7/6/20 and MUST be completed by 11:59 pm EST on 7/17/20. 

Sailings from 7/1 to 7/31/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund. Refund request form will be available beginning 6/8/20 and MUST be completed by 11:59 pm EST on 6/19/20. 

Sailings from 3/18 to 6/30/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

Sailings from 3/13 to 3/17/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 150% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).

NCL Sun Alaska / Panama Canal Sailings from 5/21 to 8/12/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).

NCL Sun Alaska / Panama Canal Sailings from 8/13 to 10/18/20

  • Guests will automatically receive a 100% Refund

Oceania Cruises is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings through April 30, 2021.  Impacted guests have the following options:

  • If your reservation is under deposit with cash funds (credit card, check, bank wire) and does not have full and final payment applied, you will automatically receive a full (100%) refund of all funds that have been applied to your reservation.
  • If your reservation has been deposited or paid in full utilizing a previously issued Future Cruise Credit, your Future Cruise Credit will be re-issued for the amount that was applied. Future Cruise Credits are not redeemable for cash refunds.
  • Ancillary items and packages, etc. purchased through us will be automatically refunded.
  • Any travel protection purchased through Oceania will also be refunded.
  • Guests who have previously opted to cancel under the Travelers Assurance Program do not qualify for this offer.
  • Please allow up to 60 days for refunds to be processed.

Princess Cruises is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings departing through May 14th, 2021. In addition the following itineraries have been cancelled:

  • All Sailings departing from Australia and New Zealand through May 31. 2021
  • All cruises longer than seven days sailing in and out of U.S. ports through November 1, 2021
  • Cruises departing in and out of Japan through June 25, 2021.

Impacted guests have the following reimbursement options:

If your cruise has been impacted, you have the option to receive a refundable Future Cruise Credit (FCC) equivalent to 100% of the cruise fare paid plus an additional non-refundable bonus FCC equal to 25% of the cruise fare. The FCCs can be used on any voyage through May 1, 2022. This higher-value option is available whether you have paid in full or made partial payment. Alternatively, you can request a refund for all monies paid on your booking through this Online Form. For cruises cancelled on November 20, 2020 requests must be received by December 31, 2020, or you will automatically receive the applicable higher value option listed above.

Princess Cruises has provided an online election form for guests who chose to forfeit their higher value Future Cruise Credit and request a refund. Future Cruise Credit is valid for voyages departing through May 1, 2022.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has we have extended our voluntary temporary suspension of voyages to include all cruises departing through March 2021 on Seven Seas SplendorSeven Seas ExplorerSeven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Navigator, as well as the previously suspended cruises departing though April 2021 aboard Seven Seas Mariner.
Guests who have paid in full will receive 100% Future Cruise Credit plus a Bonus 25% Future Cruise Credit, or 100% refund. The default compensation will be the Future Cruise Credits. Guests with bookings that are not paid in full will receive a 100% Refund for amounts paid for voyages canceled with the December 2 suspensions.
