Given the evolving COVID-19 coronavirus situation, several cruise lines have made the decision to voluntarily suspend sailings.  An overview of impacted sailings, reimbursement options & more are shown below.

Azamara is voluntarily suspending sailings from March 14 through October 31, 2020.  Impacted guests have the following options:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund
  • OPTION 3 - Lift & Shift (Move your sailing with price protection)☨

Additionally, Azamara has provided an online election form for guests to indicate their preferred form of reimbursement.  Please make sure to complete this form as soon as possible.  If no election is made, the Future Cruise Credit (Default Option) will be automatically issued.

Carnival will be voluntarily suspending sailings from March 14th to September 30, 2020. In addition, the following cruise itineraries have been cancelled:

  • Mardi Gras, will now enter into service from Port Canaveral, Fla. on Feb. 6, 2021. Itineraries out of Port Canaveral for departures from Nov. 14, 2020 to Jan. 30, 2021 have been cancelled.
  • Carnival Radiance’s $200 million dry dock at the Cadiz, Spain shipyard was suspended when the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a nationwide lockdown. We are evaluating shipyard options to complete the transformation, but the ship is likely not going to be completed until the spring.
  • Carnival Breeze will be redeployed from Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral and will assume the itineraries for Carnival Radiance from Nov. 8, 2020 to Apr. 24, 2021, due to delayed arrival of Carnival Radiance . Consequently, guests on 18 Carnival Breeze sailings from Fort Lauderdale scheduled to operate from Nov. 7, 2020 to Mar. 7, 2021 are being notified that their cruises have been cancelled.
  • Carnival Magic’s transatlantic and European itineraries from Mar. 13, 2021 to May 3, 2021 have been cancelled. Seven sailings previously scheduled for Carnival Breeze from Fort. Lauderdale from Mar. 13 to Apr. 24, 2021 will move to Miami and those guests will sail on the same itinerary, but on Carnival Magic operating from PortMiami.
  • All San Francisco sailings through 2020
  • All Carnival Sunrise sailings through and including October 19, 2020
  • All Carnival Legend sailings through and including October 30, 2020
  • All Carnival Radiance sailings through and including November 1, 2020
  • All Carnival Spirit Alaska, Hawaii, & Trans-Pacific sailings through and including October 6, 2020
  Impacted guests have the following options:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit plus onboard credit.  Onboard credit amount is based on sailing length.  6 day & longer cruises will receive a bonus $600 onboard credit per stateroom.  5 day cruises & less will receive a bonus $300 onboard credit per stateroom.  Future cruise must be booked by 5/31/21 for sailing by 4/30/23.
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund.

Celebrity Cruises is voluntarily suspending sailings from March 14 through October 31, 2020, as well as  three sailings in November, including the Celebrity Silhouette sailings of 11/8/20, 11/20/20 and Celebrity Infinity 11/16/20. Impacted guests have the following options:

Cunard has cancelled all Queen Mary 2 & Queen Victoria sailings through November 30, 2020. Queen Elizabeth sailings have been cancelled through November 23, 2020. Impacted guests have the following options:

Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of Departures through October 31, 2020. Impacted guests have the following reimbursement options:

  • All sailings on the Amsterdam, Maasdam, Rotterdam and Veendam
  • All sailings from March 14 to June 30, 2020
  • All Alaska, Europe and Canada/New England cruises for 2020
  • The 79-day Grand Africa Voyage from Boston to Fort Lauderdale 10/3/20

MSC Cruises is voluntarily suspending the following sailings:

  • All sailings through July 31, 2020
  • All sailings on the MSC Seaside and MSC Armonia through September 15, 2020
  • All cruises that visit Canadian ports through 10/31/20 including:
    • MSC Meraviglia - 09/05/20 - Repositioning – Kiel, Germany to New York
    • MSC Meraviglia - 09/22/20 - New York, NY to Canada
    • MSC Meraviglia - 10/02/20 - New York, NY to Canada & New England
    • MSC Meraviglia - 10/12/20 - New York, NY to Canada
    • MSC Meraviglia - 10/22/20 - New York, Repositioning – New York to Miami
  • All Northern Europe Cruises through the end of the 2020 season including:
    • MSC Meraviglia sailings departing from Kiel August 1 – August 29
    • MSC Poesia sailings departing from Copenhagen and Warnemunde August 1 – September 13
    • MSC Preziosa sailings departing from Hamburg August 4 – October 18
    • MSC Splendida sailings departing from Kiel August 2 – September 17 and Copenhagen September 18

Impacted guests can choose from the following reimbursement options:

Norwegian Cruise Line is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings from March 13 through October 31, 2020. Impacted guests have the following options:

Sailings from 10/1 to 10/31/20 (Excluding previously cancelled Canada/New England)

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund. Refund request form will be available beginning 8/3/20 and MUST be completed by 11:59 pm EST on 8/14/20. 

Affected Sailings from 8/1 to 9/30/20 plus October Canada New England

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund. Refund request form will be available beginning 7/6/20 and MUST be completed by 11:59 pm EST on 7/17/20. 

Sailings from 7/1 to 7/31/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund. Refund request form will be available beginning 6/8/20 and MUST be completed by 11:59 pm EST on 6/19/20. 

Sailings from 3/18 to 6/30/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

Sailings from 3/13 to 3/17/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 150% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

NCL Sun Alaska / Panama Canal Sailings from 5/21 to 8/12/20

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (Valid for sailings up until 12/31/22).
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund

NCL Sun Alaska / Panama Canal Sailings from 8/13 to 10/18/20

  • Guests will automatically receive a 100% Refund

Oceania Cruises is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings through July 31, 2020.  Impacted guests have the following options:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund

Princess Cruises is voluntarily suspending operations for all sailings departing March 12th through October 31st, 2020. In addition the following itineraries have been cancelled:

  • All sailings in Asia, Caribbean, California Coast, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal, South America & Antarctica, Japan, and Tahiti/South Pacific through December 15, 2020*.

* Australia cruises departing 11/1/20 through 12/15/20 are still scheduled to sail.

Impacted guests have the following reimbursement options:

Sailings from March 12th to March 25th:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 225% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund + 100% Future Cruise Credit
Sailings from March 26th to April 8th:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 175% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund + 50% Future Cruise Credit
Sailings from April 9th to May 10th:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 150% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund + 25% Future Cruise Credit

Sailings from May 11th to June 30th:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund
    For reservations that have not been paid in full, option 2 will be your default and any money paid will be refunded to the original payment form.

Sailings from July 1st through December 15th:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Receive a 100% Refund
    For guests who have not paid in full, Princess will Double the Deposit, providing a refundable FCC for the money currently on deposit plus a matching bonus FCC that can be used on any voyage through May 1, 2022 as a default option. Alternatively, guests can request a full refund for all monies paid on their booking.

Princess Cruises has provided an online election form for guests who chose to forfeit their higher value Future Cruise Credit and request a refund. Future Cruise Credit is valid for voyages departing through May 1, 2022.

Regent Seven Seas is suspending sailings from through September 30, 2020 plus Canada/New England sailings on the Seven Seas Navigator through October 18, 2020. Impacted guests have the following options:

  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund.

Guests who have paid in full will receive 100% Future Cruise Credit plus a Bonus 25% Future Cruise Credit, or 100% refund. The default compensation will be the Future Cruise Credits. Guests with bookings that are not paid in full will receive a 100% Refund for amounts paid for voyages canceled with the June 16th suspension. Future Cruise Credits will be good for one year and can be applied to all 2020-2022 sailings.
Refund request deadlines for canceled voyages are below:

  • Voyages canceled on March 13 and March 30 — refund request deadline was April 13, 2020.
  • Voyages canceled on April 10 — refund request deadline was April 29, 2020.
  • Voyages canceled on April 24 — refund request deadline was May 8, 2020.
  • Voyages canceled on May 20 — refund request deadline was June 3, 2020.
  • Voyages canceled on June 16 — refund request deadline is June 30, 2020

Refunds, if chosen, will be processed back in the same form of payment received within 90 days of completing the request form online for paid in full bookings. Non paid-in-full bookings with the June 16th suspensions will be automatically refunded within 90 days of the cancelation.

Royal Caribbean is voluntarily suspending sailings from March 14 through October 31, 2020. In addition, the Odyssey of the Seas will be delaying its inaugural season. All sailings from November 5, 2020 through April 17, 2021 will be cancelled. Impacted guests have the following options:
  • OPTION 1 - Receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
  • OPTION 2 - Request a 100% Refund.
  • OPTION 3 - Lift & Shift (Move your sailing with price protection)☨
  • OPTION 4 (For Odyssey of the Seas sailings ONLY) - Move your Odyssey of the Seas reservation to another 7-night Caribbean sailing on a different ship that departs within 1 week before or after your original sail date and you will be price protected.
