1. When you make your reservation through Direct Line Cruises, you’ll always get the cruise line’s best available rate with no added commissions or “booking fees”. And, on many sailings, Direct Line Cruises offers special “blocked rates” that may not be available to the general public or through local travel agencies.
2. If the cruise line’s rates go up after you make your reservation, your lower rate is locked-in. A refundable deposit of $100 to $500 per person is usually all that’s required to reserve your cruise and lock-in the lowest available rate.
3. If the cruise line reduces its rate after you make your deposited reservation, Direct Line Cruises will reduce your rate to the cruise line’s lowest applicable fare or, if you’ve already paid for your cruise in full, we’ll give you a free upgrade, an onboard credit or a future cruise certificate up to the amount of the rate reduction*.
So, if cruise line prices go up or down after you make your reservation, you’re protected with Direct Line Cruises.
Travel Insurance Included With Cruises 5 Nights or Longer

*Additional Details Regarding Rate Reductions
• Client requests for rate reductions must be based exclusively on prevailing rates currently posted on the applicable cruise line’s consumer web site for the same ship, sailing date, occupancy and stateroom category.
• To enable validation of the lower rate, requests for rate reductions must be initiated by the client via the rate adjustment request page at www.DirectLineCruises.com while the lower rate is available and at least 30 days before the sailing date.
• Cruise line “restricted fares” will be considered only if the client meets the criteria (i.e., age group, state residence, organization membership) for which the restricted fare applies.
• In accordance with cruise line restrictions, existing rates may not be adjusted for certain “tactical promotions” in which a cruise line may offer a temporary promotional rate for new bookings that are made during a very brief period of time (such as one day only).
