Family Cruise on the Norwegian Sky Like all NCL ships, the Norwegian Sky encourages guests to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of “Freestyle Cruising”.  There are no fixed dining times and no rigid schedules or, as NCL’s television commercials say, “you’re free to do whatever”.

In addition to the “Palace” and “Crossings” main dining rooms (which are open to all guests at no charge), there are specialty restaurants (with a cover charge) such as Cagney’s Steakhouse and Le Bistro French restaurant.  There’s also the Garden Café and Il Adagio Italian restaurant, (both also open to all guests at no additional charge).  In all, a total of 10 different dining venues are available to choose from every night.

Entertainment, including performances by the world-famous “Second City Comedy Troupe” and Broadway-style production shows are staged at the 1,000-seat “Stardust Lounge”.  Activities include a Vegas-style casino, pools, a large sports court as well as teen and supervised children’s programs.

Staterooms range in size (and price) from 121 square feet and, at 149 square feet, some of the standard ocean-view staterooms can accommodate up to five guests.  Suites are also available at up to 835 square feet.

Accommodations, onboard meals and entertainment are all included in one incredibly low price on the Norwegian Sky.  It’s an ideal ship for “first-time cruisers”.
