The Norwegian Breakaway will sail year-round from New York City and provide vacationers the opportunity to sail to either Bermuda or the Bahamas. Featuring all kinds of shops, restaurants and bars along a magnificent quarter-mile ocean-view boardwalk, the Waterfront is sure to amaze all passengers lucky enough to sail on the Norwegian Breakaway.
The Norwegian Breakaway’s Aqua Park is hands down the LARGEST water park at sea. Seventeen decks high, featuring five multi-story waterslides, two swimming pools, four hot tubs, the Aqua Park is sure to satisfy the ultimate water enthusiast.
Are you ready for some action? Three stories of action packed activities and thrills await you. Sports enthusiasts may challenge themselves on the largest rope course at sea. Or, if you are really looking for a thrill, guests may walk “The Plank”, which extends 8-feet over the Breakway. If this wasn’t enough the Breakaway’s Sports Complex also features a 9-hole mini-golf course, rock climbing wall, bungee trampoline and the “Spider Web”, which is a 24-foot enclosed climbing cage complete with a spiral slide. Wow, are you tired yet?
The entertainment options on the Norwegian Breakaway are practically endless featuring three spectacular Broadway Hits such as Rock of Ages, Burn the Floor and Cirque Dreams and Dinner Jungle Fantasy. In addition to these well recognized shows, guests can enjoy the great musical vibe in Fat Cats Jazz & Blues Club, sing along with the musicians at Howl at the Moon or enjoy some great laughs with the world renowned Second City comedy troupe.
Guests may enjoy from a wide selection of dining choices such as Cagney’s steakhouse, the Moderno Churrascaria featuring Brazillian style roasted meats carved tableside, sushi at Wasabi, seafood at Ocean Blu, a burger and fries at O’Sheehan’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill or an exquisite 5-star meal at Norwegian’s signature French restaurant, LeBistro. If you are looking for a real show while you dine, then trying the Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant is a must.
