From top to bottom, the eleven decks aboard the Celebrity Summit offer a level of excitement which parallels the vastness of the ship itself.  Spanning nearly a fifth of a mile from stem to stern and weighing in at more than 91,000 gross registered tons, the Summit offers a degree of elegance travelers have come to expect aboard Celebrity’s Millennium class liners.

Two decks above the ocean waters, guests may utilize the vast conference and cinema center, as well as smaller meeting rooms.  Continuing the ascent, the Fortunes casino and a myriad of clubs and lounges grace the next two decks.  Here, in the aft section of the ship, the Cosmopolitan Restaurant is found, so magnificent it reaches two full decks in height.  And while a double-deck high facility is impressive, the Celebrity Theater goes one better, scaling three forward decks.

Continuing a vertical tour of the Celebrity Summit, the ensuing quartet of decks offer meticulously appointed standard interior and ocean-view staterooms which, at a minimum size of 170 square feet, are among the roomiest of any major cruise line.  For those who want to feel at one with nature, the Summit’s veranda staterooms are highly recommended.  With floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open out to a private balcony, guests in these staterooms are afforded a unique opportunity to enjoy the solitude of the ocean or the vast beauty of a moonlit starry night.

The aerobic center, the Aqua spa, and the Seaside pool, the Seaside café and the Seaside grill grace the next step up, all located on the aptly named Resort deck.  The summit of the Summit boasts the Fun Factory, video arcade, basketball court and a nearly one-quarter mile long jogging track.

From forward to aft (measuring 965 feet), side-to-side (measuring 105 feet) and from bottom to top, the Celebrity Summit offers a wide array of activities to its valued passengers. Ranging from the uniqueness of the Celebrity Theater to the elegance of the Normandie Restaurant; from the relaxed atmosphere of its many clubs and lounges to the non-stop excitement experienced at Fortunes casino, the diverse levels of entertainment aboard the Celebrity Summit are among the highest the cruise industry has to offer.
