Consumer Review:All in all, our cruise was totally awesome! We never encountered a crew member who was not friendly and/or ready to offer assistance if we needed it. Embarkation was a breeze, as well as debarkation. The food (and service) in the dining room and on lido was very good, with a multitude of choices! I chose room service one morning and it was delivered within 10 minutes! Our cabin was very clean and well supplied. We cannot say enough about our stateroom steward NOLI and his assistants! Noli is super-efficient, energetic, friendly, and was always readily available. His assistants were just as friendly and efficient! Everyone was always smiling! Our table servers were Melisa, Cayani (sp) and Iwayan - they were ALL efficient, available, and were always smiling! Each of them accommodated our every request. They all went out of their way to assure we were more than pleased with our dining room experience.

Consumer Review:I found the cruise to be adequate. Everything went well. While the spa services varied and for the most part good, they were not very open to the services they were selling after you were already there. I found that there were more smoking areas than none. The variety of music could have been better. However, overall I did have a good time and the inconveniences I was concerned about were minor in comparison to the overall services this cruise line provided.
Consumer Review:I have one complaint - in the main dining room on the lower level and in the Phantom Theater the air was very cold. I had to wear a sweater or a sweatshirt every time I went to eat or see a show. Made it a bit uncomfortable as the weather was hot but these 2 parts of the ship were freezing.
Consumer Review:I took the Carnival Miracle to port of calls Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and Grand Turks. The Cruise was great, my only issue was that Puerto Rico did not provide enough excursions, especially a beach one. Plus the Bacardi Tour sold out extremely quickly. Also the excursions in St. Thomas were a bit pricey so we did not get to do anything there. The best was Grand Turks because the beach was right there when you got off the boat and the shopping area, plus Margaretaville was there as well which provided great convinence for my mother who had to walk with a walker. We loved every minute in Grand Turks. Beautiful water and being the only boat at port made it even more enjoyable. Carnival overall was great. There is always something to do on the boat and also great areas to relax. I love crusing with Carnival and will continue in the future.
Consumer Review:I understand people do still smoke cigarettes, however there are twice as many people that do not. Because of the negligence in providing segregation between smokers and non smokers on my recent cruise, I would never sail on the Carnival Miracle again. There were smokers everywhere. In the casino's, the lounges, by the pools, and even in the ladies rooms. There were no provisions made to segregate smokers and non smokers, and if there were no Staff members enforced the rule. It appeared that consideration was alotted to only the smokers on the ship. I have sailed on carnival ships 3 times thus far. My companions were V.I.P.'s with over 10 cruises. I have cruised with Holland America , Royal Carribean and Celebrity several times and never had reason to complain negatively about their cruises. I take cruises at least twice a year, hoever If I ever travel with the Carnival Line again and encounter the smoking problem, I would indeed stop cruising with the Company completely.
Consumer Review:I was a very hesitant to book a Carnival Cruise, but after checking other reviews online, I decided to give the Miracle a try; and I must admit I was competely blown out of the water (excuse the pun) with this one! I might add, we have been cruising for over 35 years and have a lot of cruise ships (20-25) to compare with (in other words, we are no crusing neophites.) The ease of getting around the ship, cleanliness, quality of food (the very best pastries I ever had, anywhere) and friendliness of waitstaff was far beyond compare of any ship we cruised upon in recent history. I am still day-dreaming about the azur-blue water surrounding their private island -- beyond compare in color and silkiness -- a heavenly experience -- and one I hope to experience real soon! For me, this was a FIVE-STAR EXPERIENCE!

Consumer Review:It was a beautiful ship; however, the spa did not have as many services as I was expecting and the one service I wanted, a plain manicure, was approximately $45, which is extremely over-priced. The television in the room offered some okay movies and we wound up ordering several - each movie was extremely dark and hard to watch. The regular channels were okay but the movies were excessively dark and the screens were very small. Bedding was wonderful. Cabin service and restaurant service was fabulous.
Consumer Review:My cruise experience was second to none. I experienced 1st rate entertainment, comedy shows and staff. Bar staff was amazing too. Maguire's Sports Bar bartender "Fat Cat" was amazing. Had a great time with him. Met the most wonderful people ever on this cruise. Staff was friendly, always willing to help. Rooms were spotless, ship was spotless. Only room for improvement was the food. Food was very good, but not amazing.
Consumer Review:My husband has arthritis and uses a cane and Carnival was very gracious in giving him aid in embarking. It was a great boost to what turned out to be a wonderful vacation. The ship personnel were always helpful and made it a very pleasant experience. This was our 5th cruise with Carnival and look forward to cruising with them again.
Consumer Review:ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE CRUISE WAS THE SMOKE. CARNIVAL PERMITS SMOKING IN THEIR CABINS, WE GOT A CABIN THAT WAS VERY BAD WITH SMOKE.FIRST NIGHT WAS VERY BAD. IT TOOK A FULL DAY OF COMPLAINING BEFORE WE WERE MOVED. MY COMMENT ON CARNIVAL IS THAT THERE IS MUCH TOO MUCH SMOKE ON BOARD. I HAVE SAILED 3 OTHER CRUISE LINED AND THERE WAS NO SMOKE PROBLEM.
Consumer Review:Our overall experience on the Carnival Miracle was wonderful! The embarkation process was slow this time around, but once onboard, we felt as though we had "come home". The class and design of the ship is exactly like the Carnival Legend which we had sailed on four years earlier. The food, activities, entertainment and staff were superb! My only complaints or comments would be on behalf of the seniors who traveled with us this time. The walking seemed overwhelming or excessive to them, and the Half Moon Cay experience, although beautiful, was not "senior friendly" in the least! Trams to move guests down the beach were not operating regularly enough, and we spent close to an hour trying to get chairs and a clamshell; the food pavillion was too far away, causing us to walk there and bring food back to the seniors who couldn't make the walk, and the wait for tenders returning to the ship was so long that a few people actually passed out from the heat while waiting on the long lines with limited shade. Better accomodations on this otherwise tropical paradise would be helpful. The beach and water was unlike any other! All that aside, we love Carnival and look forward to planning another cruise with them in the not too distant future!

Consumer Review:we stayed in cabin 8168 just under the lido deck, the noise was terrible every day from chairs being scraped along the floor when lunch, meals were served, we complained but to no avail, was told to tell service when happened again, they would come and authenticate. we would not book that area of ship again. There was no live music in the specialty restaurant, we dined there 2 times. the second time there was so much vibration at our table from the ship that glasses were moving from the table to the edge of the table, we were told it was change in water temperature but on questioning diners in main restaurant no viration was felt.Children were allowed to run in the hallways, very annoying.the transportation to and from the ship needs improvement. From the airport we had to call twice and was told driver went to wrong terminal, we waited a long time, on disembarkation there was no carnival rep to direct us to transportation, we actually had port authorities assist us and they were working for another company, Regent. at one point on wrong bus and told by driver he was told Carnival passengers but did not know how many, knew nothing of who he was picking up or how many. The events on board were rather repetative, bingo, art auctions ( we were inundated with invites),beanbag contests, this was not our style, need more variety of things to do. TV did not always work in cabin, they need upgraded.
Consumer Review:We've sailed with Carnival (Legend) twice before. The Miracle was not up to our expectations. The food was mediocre as was the entertainment. The staff however was excellant.
